Haider needs to learn from the experts

Joerg Haider succeeded in an open Austrian election, in 2000, in increasing the power of his Freedom Party to the extent that it should have made up part of the government coalition. Quite illegally, the member states of the European Union brought pressure to bear on the government to effectively ban him from any position of influence. Joerg Haider's main problem was that he voiced a lot of opinions which others considered to be ultra-right or even Nazi. The issue of importance was that he voiced opinions unacceptable to others. As a result, in practical terms, he was effectively banned from taking up his electorally rightful place in the Austrian government.

The European Union of course extols the virtues of freedom and democracy but demonstrated that it was quite capable of interfering in the democratic process of Austria purely on the basis of what a right wing politician had said in the past. Haider did not introduce any Nazi policies nor did he proactively initiate any racial discrimination against any well-defined groups in Austria which harm people, as far as we know.

The European Union state governments and the institutions are clearly looking at what people are saying. If neo-Nazis wish to escape such an attack they just need to apply a little intelligence. They simply do not say what they will do, they just do it. In this case no one will notice or do anything. This is exactly what neo-Nazi elements in the governments of the Czech republic, Hungary and the Slovak republic have done. In 1989 they secretly re-established a Third Reich system of segregation and denial of education to Roma which had been closed in 1945. They pay a financial incentive to local authorities, in rural regions, in direct proportion to the number of Roma children forced into such institutions. The system is modeled exactly on the Third Reich special schools with the government paying racist psychologists to "tidy up the paper work" by issuing fraudulent assessments of the children to classify normal children as being educationally deficient. The number of children forced into this system has risen roughly 400% during the last 14 years. The funds raised are not spent on the education of the children.

This has now been in operation for 14 years. Although the European Commission, European Parliament and others know all about this, they keep very quiet. This is because the neo-Nazis in the countries concerned do not annoy the European Union because they are "discrete"; they keep quiet about this ongoing atrocity. Haider made, and continues to make, the very serious mistake of talking openly about his ideas and views. European "authorities" don't like that.
The dichotomy in Europe is that when a man speaks his, admittedly right wing views, the Europeans actually act to the extent of even breaking the law to prevent him from exercising his rightful role in a democratically elected government. On the other hand, in the case of the Czech republic, Hungary and the Slovak republic, who run an ongoing Nazi system perfected during the Third Reich which proactively harms thousands of innocent children, these "Europeans" do nothing. This year some 150,000 innocent children will continue to be subjected to a 100% denial of education because the brave European Union does not have the courage to enforce the termination, forthwith, of this monstrosity.
The neo-Nazis in these governments were so adept at their dirty work that they actively ramped up the numbers of children forced into gulags of educational denial by over 200% during the "negotiations for accession" to the EU. All of this right under the noses of European Commission officials.
European double standards come with high price for little children
The ability of European Parliament to support real action (even if it was bizarre) in the case of Haider contrasts with their quite vulgar orgy of accession fever and out of place enthusiasm for supporting the accession of countries whose current governments are guilty of crimes worse than Haider even conceived. This is a shocking contrast in priorities indeed. The European Union is just "accepting all" including the right of those racist "educational psychologists" to ply their dirty trade, freely, within the Union and with better pay!
That nice European Commission says when we run out of Phare money we can have lots of Structural Funds!
More shocking is that this is not an issue of law breaking on the part of private individuals, skin heads or some underworld gang. It is a criminal process managed by the ministries of finance and education working closely with the local authorities. All of whom, in spite of this perverse and disgusting practice, continue to enjoy very generous funding directly from the European Commission.
